The Foundation
The Cincy Hat began as a grassroots fundraiser for the Village of Merici and quickly grew into something far bigger than we ever imagined. With over $2.5 million in hats sold, this community has already made a real difference: including funding full-ride scholarships for two incredible students through the University of Cincinnati’s TAP Program, a four-year college experience designed for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Now, we’re turning that momentum toward home - focusing our mission on building housing and expanding additional opportunities for adults with IDD right here in Cincinnati.
Together, we’re creating lasting change - one Cincy Hat at a time.

Programs That We Support
INDIANAPOLIS
Village of Merici
We support the Village of Merici's annual grant, providing essential funding for housing, coaching, and services that empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently. Proceeds from merchandise sales directly contribute to these initiatives, helping the Village of Merici expand its reach and impact within the community.
