Be the heart of a brand-new community. The Cincy Hat Foundation is opening its first home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities—and we're looking for a live-in Coordinator to help it thrive.
If you've got experience supporting adults with IDD, a knack for bringing people together, and a real belief that everyone deserves to belong—this one's for you. Live on-site, build something that matters.
Community Resource Coordinator
The Cincy Hat Foundation, a Cincinnati 501(c)(3) nonprofit creating affordable housing for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Community Resource Coordinator for its first residential property in Madisonville.
This is a part-time, live-in role. The Coordinator occupies one of the building's units and serves as the on-site point of contact for property safety, resident communication, and neighborhood connection. Rather than providing direct care, the Coordinator acts as a trusted neighbor and advocate—making sure residents feel safe, informed, and genuinely part of their community.
Day to day, the role covers four areas: keeping the property safe and well-maintained (including responding to maintenance emergencies), staying in regular, respectful communication with residents, championing residents as welcome members of the Madisonville neighborhood, and planning social outings and on-site events that build friendship and independence.
We're looking for someone with experience supporting adults with IDD, strong communication and organizational skills, and a genuine commitment to community inclusion. The Coordinator lives on-site and is on-call evenings and weekends, but is not expected to be present around the clock.
Compensation for the role is free rent in the brand-new apartment building in downtown Madisonville.
